Use the ordinary interview to clarify the audience, useful outcome, and choices that change what should be built.
Use Grill Me by Matt Pocock to clarify a plan through a structured interview. Choose the ordinary grilling conversation or the Grill with Docs mode when a software discussion also needs shared terminology and architectural records, then review the decisions before starting implementation.

Grill Me is Matt Pocock’s user-invoked interview entry, delegating its questioning to the companion grilling Skill. It maps a plan into dependent decisions and asks the choices that can be settled with the information currently available. For software discussions that should also refine project language and durable records, Grill with Docs combines grilling with domain-modeling. That mode checks the glossary, code, and existing architectural decisions, updates resolved terms in GLOSSARY.md, and records an ADR only when a consequential trade-off warrants it. These are two entry points into related methods, so this guide covers them together. Install the collection with its companions, choose the mode that fits the task, and review decisions and any file changes before implementation.
Explore plans that need clearer goals, decisions, or shared language before implementation. Use the ordinary interview for a product idea or workflow change, and the document-aware mode when a software discussion must also leave precise terminology and justified architectural decisions for later work.
